The premise is a loving homage to the adventure serials of the 1930s and 40s. A planeload of mismatched military personnel crash-lands on an uncharted island. This setup serves as a direct nod to the grandfather of the genre, the 1933 classic King Kong , but the script quickly pivots from gothic horror to campy fantasy. The island is not just a refuge for prehistoric beasts; it is inhabited by a tribe of beautiful women who have never seen men.
