Here’s a short piece based on the embroidery software, written as if from a user’s perspective.

Using the "Spline Satin" tool, you click along the edge of the logo’s text. The software generates a centerline and then calculates entry/exit points. You set the stitch angle perpendicular to the path. For fills, you use the "Interactive Fill" tool, dragging a line to set the stitch angle. The software shows a ghosted preview of the stitches as you work.
