Released in 1998, Bride of Chucky (A Noiva de Chucky) marked a significant turning point for the series. While the first three films were straight slasher horrors, this fourth installment embraced dark comedy. Directed by Ronnie Yu, the movie introduced Jennifer Tilly as Tiffany, the girlfriend of the serial killer Charles Lee Ray (Chucky’s human form) who eventually gets her soul transferred into a female doll.
