Kumbalangi Nights is a quietly powerful Malayalam drama about four brothers living in a fishing village near Kochi. At its heart the film is a tender, character-driven study of family, masculinity, and redemption, told with gentle humor and grounded realism.

The narrative follows four brothers—Saji, Bobby, Bonny, and Franky—living in a dysfunctional, "shameless" household in the village of Kumbalangi. Their lives are marked by rivalry and neglect until a series of events forces them to unite. Standing in stark contrast to their chaotic world is Shammi, played brilliantly by Fahadh Faasil , a man obsessed with being the "complete man," whose underlying darkness provides the film's chilling tension.
