: Unlike modern hidden object games, Ancient Secrets relies heavily on small details. Use your cursor to scan edges of the screen for "Knick-knacks" and "Diary" entries that provide lore and puzzle hints.
The compass will now glow. Use it on the hidden wall safe behind the painting of a pyramid. Enter the symbols in this order (from journal hint: “Earth before wind, fire before water”): Earth → Wind → Fire → Water. The safe opens. Inside: Torn Map (Fragment A) and a Strange Gear .
