In mid-2021, a new ransomware strain called emerged. Security researchers discovered that Diavol shared significant portions of its code with the TrickBot malware, suggesting a direct link between the two. Internal leaks from the Conti group later confirmed that Baget was the primary developer behind Diavol. baget exploit 2021
