Previous studies have highlighted the significance of mobile phones and social media in shaping young people's lifestyles and entertainment preferences (Katz & Asp, 2012; boyd, 2014). In rural areas, mobile phones have been shown to have a positive impact on young people's social connections, education, and economic opportunities (Donner, 2015). However, concerns have also been raised about the potential negative effects of excessive mobile phone use on mental health, social skills, and academic performance (Király et al., 2019).
