The last five minutes of the English dub episode are devastating. While the fighting stops, Funato Chojuro (the leader of the Funato’s military arm) refuses to accept peace. In a shocking twist, he attempts to assassinate Ikada for “treason.” Boruto and Kawaki intervene, but not before Chojuro is struck down by his own men—only to reveal that he had poisoned Ikada earlier.
