TechBits Academy 2021 – Comprehensive Write-Up 1. Event Overview TechBits Academy 2021 was a skill-development initiative aimed at bridging the gap between academic learning and industry-ready technical expertise. The program ran from June 14 to July 9, 2021 , targeting undergraduate students, fresh graduates, and early-career IT professionals.
Organizer: TechBits Community / XYZ University Tech Club (customize as needed) Format: Virtual (Zoom + Discord for collaboration) Duration: 4 weeks, 3 sessions/week (2 hours each) Participants: 120+ enrolled, 85 completed the final project
2. Objectives
Introduce modern web development tools and workflows Build hands-on experience with version control (Git) and team collaboration Develop a portfolio-ready capstone project Foster a peer-learning environment through code reviews and pair programming techbits academy 2021
3. Curriculum & Tracks Participants chose one of two tracks: Track A: Frontend Foundations
HTML5 semantics, CSS Flexbox/Grid JavaScript (ES6): async/await, DOM manipulation React.js basics (components, state, props, hooks) Responsive design with Tailwind CSS
Track B: Backend Essentials
Node.js + Express.js REST API design MongoDB with Mongoose Authentication (JWT, bcrypt)
