This paper examines the Bank of Montreal (BMO) Graduate Leadership Program, a rotational training initiative designed to develop early-career professionals into future leaders within the financial services industry. Through a review of publicly available program descriptions, industry benchmarks, and talent development literature, this study evaluates the program’s structure, selection criteria, skill outcomes, and organizational impact. Findings indicate that BMO’s program aligns with best practices in experiential learning and mentorship but faces challenges in retention and diversity inclusion. Recommendations include enhanced cross-functional rotations and longitudinal outcome tracking.
